Student Spotlight

The SENR Alumni Society welcomes Brittany Smith as the new student representative on the SENRAS Council. An environmental science student and music minor, Brittany Smith joined the Ohio State family from Detroit, Michigan. She first discovered her passion for environmental science when she took an AP Environmental Science class during her senior year in high school. Throughout her career at Ohio State, Brittany has participated in Alpha Zeta Partners, Undergraduate Student Government, Leadership Ohio State, University Symphony Orchestra, and Buckeye Friends of Stone Laboratory, where she currently holds the title of Vice President. Brittany chose to study at a large university because she wanted to have many opportunities to get involved. In the future, she hopes to bring change to the environment that will benefit others and society. As student representative, Brittany will assist in fostering stronger connections between alumni and SENR students.
