Hireabuckeye
Hireabuckeye is an on-line database of jobs and internships. This system is for students in the School of Environment & Natural Resources. That means the job and internship postings are going to be of interest to you. It also means you can search opportunities from anywhere, anytime. You are not limited to regular office hour times for your job search. We’ve made the system easy to use with all the information you need to pursue an internship or job opportunity that interests you.
Career Expos
Career expos featuring companies/agencies looking for our students are held two times a year right here in Kottman Hall. We bring in employers that want to talk to our students about employment opportunities. Expos offer students the opportunity to mingle with a variety of companies/agencies and to gather valuable career information.
Internships
Internships are important. An internship is work experience in your field. It’s getting out there and applying what you’ve been studying in the classroom. We encourage our students to graduate with at least two internship experiences. You’ll hear that more than once during your time with us as a student. There are many internships available all over the country, most being paid positions. There is no better way to try out your chosen job field than an internship.
