Majors in the School of Environment and Natural Resources are offered through the following interdisciplinary programs:

The Environmental Policy and Management program offers students 6 career tracks to follow.

The Environmental Science program has specialization options in Land, Soil Science, Waste Management, and Water Quality.

The Forestry, Fisheries and Wildlife program was created in September 2003 merging the Fisheries and Wildlife Management and the Forestry and Urban Forestry programs.

The Parks, Recreation and Tourism program has career tracks in 6 different areas.

Upon admission to the university, students are enrolled directly into SENR and begin following their program of study. Students will be assigned to a pre-major academic advisor. They must complete English composition, college algebra or trigonometry, science course work (biology and chemistry), earn 45 credit hours and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 before being assigned a faculty advisor within their major.
