New Textbook by Mohan Wali

		The Environment — Science, Issues, and Solutions, a new textbook by Mohan Wali, Fatih Evrendilek and Siobhan Fennessy, is now in print through CRC Press. The authors’ approach is grounded in science and the scientific method.  Through the principles of ecology they discuss how human population growth, expanded technology, and economic development have altered ecosystems and created serious environmental problems. The authors’ style will pique the interest of students, promote critical thinking, and foster environmental literacy based on a fundamental understanding of natural ecosystems.  Mohan Wali is a professor in the SENR. Fatih Evrendilek is an associate professor at Abant Izzet Baysal University in Turkey and Siobhan Fennessy is an associate professor at Kenyon College in Ohio. Both Evrendilek and Fennessy received their PhDs from OSU.
