Buckeye Bound Online Information Sessions

The School of Environment and Natural Resources hosts information sessions for admitted students throughout the Spring as a part of the Buckeye Bound visit day series.  We have moved these information sessions online and hope you will be able to join us.  We host two different sessions and you can find details below on both, including links to register:

During this session students and guests will learn about the majors and career pathways in the School of Environment and Natural Resources. Current students involved with internships, research, student organizations, and education abroad will share their experiences and offer advice on making the most OSU and SENR resources in preparation for an impactful career. Green Jobs: Preparing to Make a Global Impact Through Careers in STEM, Economics, Policy, and More!
This session will provide information on pathways into careers addressing “green” challenges: climate resilience and adaptability, access to natural resources, community and government action and response, and economic elements of sustainability. We will discuss this rapidly growing job sector, learn about the variety of majors and professional experiences that prepare students for employment and impact, and hear from current students already working toward a greener future.

General Online Information Sessions

Individual Appointments: Online or Phone

Set up an individual phone or Zoom appointment with Esther DeBusk, our Undergraduate Recruitment and Student Engagement Manager.  These meetings can serve as a personalized overview and/or an opportunity for you to have your questions answered.  The meeting will cover SENR majors, your career goals and interests, and make sure you’ve got the resources you need to make an informed decision about Ohio State.  Select the meeting time lengths available and you can sign up online (click on the time to go to availability):         

30-Minutes: This meeting length is good for those with questions or looking for a brief discussion of majors and opportunities

60-Minutes: This meeting length provides time for a full overview and time for any questions
