Welcome to David Manning, who recently joined the Stream and River Ecology (STRIVE) Lab as a postdoctoral research associate.

Congratulations to Danielle Vent, who successfully defended her MS thesis, "Associations between riffles and aquatic biota following lowhead dam removal: implications for river fish conservation", in July 2015!

Breeanne Jackson and advisor Mazeika Sullivan are the lead authors of a chapter in the newly published book, The Ecological Importance of Mixed-Severity Fires: Nature’s Phoenix, co-edited by Dominick DellaSala and Chad Hanson of the John Muir Project. Read more.

Ben Rubinoff has recently been awarded an Honors & Scholars Enrichment Grant for his project on the effects of artificial lighting at night on aquatic primary productivity.  Way to go Ben!
