Attend the January EPN Breakfast and participate in a discussion by experts and leaders in fields on LEED certification and efforts to "strengthen" the standards, and the ASLA efforts to create the Sustainable Sites Initiative™ (SITES™). 

This month's discusion is Sustainable Buildings, Sustainable Sites -- LEED Benefits Grow; ASLA Partners Launch SITES.

SITES is an interdisciplinary effort by the American Society of Landscape Architects, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center at The University of Texas at Austin and the United States Botanic Garden to create voluntary national guidelines and performance benchmarks for sustainable land design, construction and maintenance practices.

Speakers are Jerry Smith, Principal, SMITH GreenHealth Consulting; SITES national core committee, ASLA; and David Scott, Attorney, Luper Neidenthal & Logan; U.S. Green Building Council Vice-Chair, Central Ohio Chapter
