Office of Energy and Environment welcomes Dr. Daniel Yergin
CNBC's Global Energy Expert and Pulitzer Prize-winning Author, Dr. Daniel Yergin will present The Future of Energy and the World on Tuesday, Apr. 2nd, at 4:00 p.m. in the The Griffin East Ballroom of the Ohio Union.
Respected around the world as a leading energy scholar and expert, Daniel Yergin has served as an advisor and analyst on energy-related topics including energy security, unconventional oil and gas development—like shale gas and tight oil—energy markets, and climate change. He received the Pulitzer Prize for his book The Prize, which became a best-seller and a PBS and BBC television series. Yergin’s new book, The Quest, is a sweeping history of the energies—from oil and gas to solar and wind—that animate the modern world, and a riveting story of where we are today, and what the future of energy—and our world—might look like.
