OSU Climate Change Webinar
The OSU Climate Change Webinar presents Adaptation and forest management in Great Lakes forests: custom-made, real-world examples with Stephen Handler, USDA Forest Service Northern Research Station and Northern Institute of Applied Climate Science.
Forest managers and landowners have a big role to play in preparing for continued climate change. The Climate Change Response Framework is a collaborative effort to help with this challenge and encourage climate-informed forest management. A major focus of this project is to build a network of adaptation demonstration projects, to provide real-world examples from a variety of ownerships and forest types.
This presentation will share:
- the consistent approach that unites all of these demonstration projects
- different ways forest managers and landowners are adapting to climate change
The webinar is free. To register click here. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email with log-in information. Contact Christina Dierkes with any questions.
