Spring 2014 SENR Seminar Series

Jan 16, 2014, 4:00pm - 5:30pm

The SENR Seminar Series welcomes Kate Bartter, Interim Director, OSU Office of Energy and Environment, who will present The State of Energy and the Environment at Ohio State.

The choice of energy and environment as an “Ohio State Discovery Theme” reflects both the wealth of knowledge in the Ohio State community and the global challenge of sustainable energy for the planet. Research and discovery into issues ranging from shale energy to artificial photosynthesis, sustainable transportation and clean coal are on the agenda for 2014. A new University Senate committee has been formed to explore sustainability in the curriculum. In addition, Ohio State continues its efforts to model innovative sustainable practices throughout the operation of our campus.

The SENR Seminar begins at 4:10 p.m in 103 Kottman Hall with a video link to 123 Williams Hall on the Wooster campus.
