Spring 2014 SENR Seminar Series

Feb 6, 2014, 4:00pm - 5:30pm

The SENR Seminar Series welcomes J. Timmons Roberts, Ittleson Professor of Environmental Studies and Sociology, Brown University Department of Sociology, who will present Inequality and Climate Change: Vulnerability, Responsibility, Action.

Dr. Roberts will discuss issues of inequality in climate change as an environmental and social issue. He also will address issues of "responsibility." -- Who bears greater responsibility for contributing to climate change? Who is most vulnerable to the negative impacts of climate change? Who is taking action to adapt to or mitigate climate change? Who is taking action to address the problem through emissions reductions and leadership in negotiating a global agreement?

The SENR Seminar begins at 4:10 p.m in 103 Kottman Hall with a video link to 123 Williams Hall on the Wooster campus.
