Stone Lab Guest Lecture Series & Research Brief
Join us for the Stone Lab Guest Lecture Series.
At 7:00 p.m. Suzanne Gray, Assistant Professor with SENR will present the Research Brief: The Effects of Turbidity on Imperiled Great Lakes Fishes.
At 8:00 p.m. Jeff Tyson, Lake Erie Program Administrator with ODNR Division of Wildlife will present Status of Ohio's Lake Erie.

Hop aboard the Boardwalk water taxi at 7:15 ($3 each way, payable to boat driver) and visit Gibraltar Island where staff will greet you with a brief introduction to our program and the island before leading you up to our lecture hall. Don’t forget to grab your favorite Stone Lab gear while our “Shop on the Rock” is open that evening! On lecture nights from 6pm − 9pm our Aquatic Visitors Center will be open for extended touring hours (no fishing), and will host a live broadcast of the Guest Lecture from Gibraltar Island starting at 7pm. Visitors will have the opportunity to hear both the research lecture (7:00 pm) as well as the keynote lecture (8:00 pm).
