We Are One Sustainability Fair

Ohio State's Office of Energy and Environment, Undergraduate Student Government and the Ohio Union Activities Board (OUAB) are teaming up to present two days of fun events to support sustainability education to students. This "We Are One" initiative will promote sustainability not only for campus, but for our community and planet.

 

On Thursday, Feb. 26, from 11:30 am to 5:00 pm, students are invited to the WE ARE ONE Sustainability Fair in the Ohio Union Performance Hall. Student sustainability organizations will be available to explain their efforts to support sustainability on campus, and the Columbus Zoo, Friends of the Lower Olentangy Watershed, and Blue Creek Wind Farm will be here to introduce their energy and environmental actions to help make Central Ohio more sustainable. Local foods, give-aways and prizes will be available to student attendees.  A "Recycled Art Contest" will be on display in the Performance Hall, with prizes going to the top artistic efforts at using recyclable materials to create art.  The Sustainability Fair is charged with promoting environmental sustainability and will be a Zero Waste concert event.
