Winter Tree ID

Can you identify trees with leaves?  What about without leaves?  Hosted by the Ohio Woodland Stewards (OWS), this day long class is designed to teach you the key characteristics you need to look for when trying to identify tree without leaves.  The session will look at buds, leaf scars and many other characteristics to help unravel the mystery of winter tree id.  

Join us for this hands on workshop designed to help you work with a dichotomous key in indentifying trees in the winter months.  This is an advanced class, so some knowledge of tree identfication is required.
