Urban Hiking: Ravine Tour
August  28th, 2022; 10am-12pm

Details: The first hike presented by SENR Peer Mentors is “Urban Hiking: Ravine Tour,” on Sunday, August 28th, from 10am-12pm. Students and faculty of SENR will take a walking tour through Columbus' ravines. On this hike, you will have the opportunity to meet your peers, instructors, and have a greater connection with 3 of campus’ nearby green spaces.  The hike is 3.6 miles total across easy terrain.

Hikers will meet at Eastern Side of the Union, alongside High St, right by the flagpole at 9:50am. The hike will follow through the Iuka Ravine, Glen Echo Park, and end with Walhalla Rd for the final ravine. The hike will conclude at 12pm in the cultural heart of the nearby neighborhood of Clintonville. Students will then be free to get lunch, window-shop, or return to campus via a walk along the Olentangy Trail or take the COTA #2.
