Registration is open for the 2025 CFAES Research Forum and Poster Competition. Eligible participants include currently enrolled or recently graduated students, post-docs, and research staff working on CFAES-supported projects. The competition encompasses separate categories for Undergraduate students, Master’s students, Doctoral students, Post-doctoral Scholars, and Research Assistants/Associates/Scientists (also referred to as Research Staff). Participants must register AND submit their abstract and poster PDF by Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at the link below.
All events will take place on Thursday, April 10th from 8:30am - 3:30pm at the Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center on the Columbus Campus. Poster sessions will take place in the morning, as outlined below, followed by a luncheon, a keynote address, remarks on the state of CFAES Research, and concluding with the awards ceremony. Columbus is pleased to announce we have received $100,000 to offer Round 2 of the Youth Climate Action Fund in 2025!
With 84 percent of youth around the world reporting that they are worried about climate change, Bloomberg Philanthropies launched the Youth Climate Action Fund to help empower the next generation of climate leaders. As a Bloomberg Sustainable City, Columbus received funds to distribute as microgrants to youth groups seeking to address climate change and its impacts on our community.
