Ohio Woodland Stewards Class: The Good, The Bad, and The Hungry: Dealing with Wildlife Conflict | Jul 15, 2022, 10:00am - 3:00pm
Are you having issues with wildlife (deer, rabbits, moles, voles, groundhogs, chipmunks…and the list goes on) in the garden or landscape? We will discuss ways to achieve a happy coexistence with these critters and others (raccoons, skunks, coyotes, and bats) at this workshop!

Join Marne Titchenell, Extension Wildlife Specialist in this workshop where she will identify wildlife damage from various species and discuss options to prevent and lessen conflict around the home. Come ready to share your questions/stories about pesky wildlife!

This class will be indoors. Lunch and materials are included in the class fee.

Upcoming Class on Tree Identification

Ohio Woodland Stewards Class: Name That Tree | Aug 6, 2022, 10:00am - 3:00pm

Want to learn how to identify some common Ohio trees? Then join us and spend the day learning common terminology and how to use a dichotomous tree key. The class starts out in the morning learning some key characteristics to look for and then works with a key on some samples from local trees. In the afternoon we will go outside and do some hands on identification utilizing that same key.

The Hauser Policy Impact Fund is pleased to announce the third webinar in the spring 2022 series on the role of the social and behavioral sciences in understanding and addressing climate change. The webinar, "How Are We, and How Should We Be, Adapting to Climate Change is on July 18, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Additional details and registration via the National Academies website.
