2022 Ohio Rivers Symposium on March 25
Presented By: ODNR Division of Natural Areas & Preserves Scenic Rivers Program, Ohio Scenic Rivers Association and the Water Management Association of Ohio
Purpose: This event brings together people who share an interest in Ohio’s rivers. Watershed professionals, naturalists, community members and all others who would like to learn and connect with other river advocates should attend. Morning refreshments and lunch will be provided.
Several SENR faculty and experts are on the program, including:
Dr. Richard Moore, who will deliver the keynote address; Eugene Braig, who will present on aquatic invasive species; and Dr. Mažeika Sullivan, who will present on land and water ecosystem linkages. Flyer | Register

Several SENR faculty members are panelists for Solve Climate By 2030.
Calling all Climate-Concerned Educators, Students and Community Members! On March 30, 2022, over 1,000 Colleges, Universities, High Schools and K-8 schools worldwide will engage over half a million people in a one-day Teach-In on climate solutions and justice in the transition. Faith groups, civic organizations and businesses can participate too.
Join the Byrd Polar and Climate Research Center and Ohio State Sustainability Institute to hear from a number of faculty (including SENR faculty: Kerry Ard, Jeremy Brooks, Greg Hitzhusen) at Ohio State as they discuss climate change through a multidisciplinary lens in a "flash talk" format. Each talk will cover climate change challenges, impacts, or solutions through unique perspectives, such as art, geography, psychology, or agriculture. This event is geared towards educators and students but is open to anyone interested in learning more. Find out more.
