Faculty member Rachel Gabor is quoted in the Sierra article, "We Don't Deserve Beavers." The article discusses the connection between beavers and water quality, particularly in polluted waters. Joshua Ferg (alum) is quoted and research conducted while here at Ohio State is mentioned in a recent article in The Columbus Dispatch (April 24), "Ohio supporters of wind power say misinformation is biggest hurdle." Joshua was advised by faculty member Jeffrey Jaquet and they published an article in 2021 examining two anti-wind online communities, which is accessible here.

The CFAES Office for Research & Graduate Education is pleased to announce the 2022-2023 CFAES STARS Program (Strategic Alignment for Research Success). STARS is an initiative to identify and develop the next generation of research leaders among early and mid-career tenure track faculty within the College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.

Applications open for Faculty Fellow program

The Office of Academic Affairs is announcing the Faculty Fellow program for the 2022-23 academic year. Faculty fellows will dedicate a percentage of time (typically 20% to 50%) to the Office of Academic Affairs and participate in a leadership program. This year’s applicants will complete general projects and specific projects related to the promotion and tenure process, academic leadership programming and faculty programming. Applicants must be associate or full professors. Applicants are requested to send a statement of interest, CV and three letters of recommendation.
