We had a great line-up of talks by SENR graduate students last week during seminar - please join in another round of applause for students presenting this semester! 
 

Plan to attend tomorrow's seminar with invited speaker Tom DeSutter, professor of Soil Science at North Dakota State University, who will present, "Reclamation of Soils Post-Energy Extraction: Strategies and Partnerships" starting at 4:00 p.m. in room 103 Kottman Hall. Faculty member Jim Ippolito, host for the visit has identified two open chat sessions with Dr. DeSutter in room 333D, if you'd like to take a moment, stop by and say hello and introduce yourself and/or visit. On October 1, there is time available at 10:30-11:45am and again from 2-3pm (both in 333D).

• The Revised ENR Graduate Program Handbook is available here. Bookmark it!
• The SENR Handbook (go.osu.edu/SENRHandbook) is your go-to reference manual for all day-to-day work questions.  It is housed on Teams along with all the SENR SOPs that are linked within, and will be updated annually.  ENR@Work will eventually be updated to mirror the handbook, but until those changes are made, please bookmark the handbook or access it on the main page of ENR@Work.

Ohio Sea Grant is hiring an Emerging Contaminants Specialist

Ohio Sea Grant Extension’s Lake Erie Emerging Contaminants Specialist will be based in northern Ohio and provide expertise on Lake Erie ecology and critical issues, particularly emerging contaminants including marine debris/plastics, pharmaceuticals and personal care products, PFAS, and others.
