Titled "Food Waste Policy: Present and Future," the 2017 OSU Food Waste Collaborative Conference and Webinar will be held on Sept. 15 at the Nationwide 4-H Center at Ohio State. The event, which is open to the public, will explore current trends in food policy that both help and hinder our ability to reduce the amount of loss in the food system. InFACT is a sponsor of the 2017 event, which is organized by Brian Roe, leader of the Ohio State Food Waste Collaborative, and an executive committee member and faculty affiliate for InFACT. This conference attracts a diverse audience, including researchers, practitioners, students, entrepreneurs and anyone interested in learning more about policy-driven solutions to a complex issue. Sponsorship options are also available for any organization that would like to amplify their commitment to reducing and redirecting consumer food waste.
Students are invited to email Conference Planner Julie Manning to submit a research poster for the conference poster session.
