The 2017 Stone Lab Winter Program and Silent Auction

The 2017 Stone Lab Winter Program and Silent Auction at the Longaberger Alumni House provides an opportunity to support the work through Ohio Sea Grant and Stone Lab. There are opportunities to bid on silent auction items while enjoying a cash bar and hors d’oeuvres. At 7:30 p.m. Caroline McElwain, Ohio State Class of 2017, will present “Can Lake Erie Forage Fish See In Turbid Water?” At 8:30, Dr. Bryan D. Mark, state climatologist & OSU professor of geography will make a guest presentation.

In addition to the annual Silent Auction, guests will be able to purchase Stone Lab merchandise to support student scholarships and learn about Stone Lab’s summer courses and field trip programs. College students can also win a Stone Lab scholarship covering room and board for a one-week course. Friends of Stone Lab will provide soda, coffee, snacks and desserts during the event.
