Back to Basics: A Brief Look at Environmental Policy

Interested in how climate change is impacting the world around you, but not sure how to take action? Or how federal, state, and local environmental policy initiatives intersect? Join Defend Our Future Ohio, Green Columbus, and the Moritz Energy and Environmental Law Society for a discussion with local political and envrionmental leaders to answer these questions and more at their event entitled "Back to Basics: A Brief Look at Environmental Policy." 
 
The purpose of this event is to meet interested students where they are and to give an overview of how environmental law is enacted generally, then discussing Ohio-specific and Columbus city initiatives. Our speakers include Dean Carlarne, a climate change law expert; Aryeh Alex, the Political Director from the Ohio Environmental Council; and Councilmember Elizabeth Brown. There will be open time towards the end of the event for networking and mingling between students and speakers, so bring your questions!
