A Conversation on Agriculture, Water Quality, and the Rule of Law
How are the agricultural community, the State, and Ohio residents working together to keep our drinking water safe? As part of our “Rule of Law in the Age of Legal Change” discussion, we will focus on the 2014 Harmful Algal Bloom (HAB) incidents in Toledo, Ohio. What are the water quality management practices that have emerged since this crisis and what issues remain to be addressed? Our discussion will involve a panel of three experts representing policy and legislative initiatives, civic activism, and environmental justice concerns.
The format will consist of three parts:
Panel Presentation - 30 minutes
Question and Answer Session - 30 minutes
Informal Open Conversation - 45 minutes
LUNCH WILL BE SERVED!
