Employer Spotlight

The first Employer Spotlight of the year is happening RIGHT NOW, Thursday, September 28th, 10a - 2p in the lobby of Kottman Hall. This is a casual meet and greet with a few professionals from the field who are looking to share about career paths with their organizations. This is a great early way to ask questions about internships and job opportunities as well as informational interviewing about careers in general.

This week, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) will be here from the Divisions of Parks and Watercraft and Division of Wildlife. Staff from their Communications section, Law Enforcement, and a Private Lands Biologist.

In addition to ODNR, the Ohio Parks and Recreation Association will be here to recruit students to volunteer and register for student scholarships for their upcoming professional conference. They have professionals membership sections for outdoor education, law enforcement, administration and management, land stewardship, and operations.

Come as you are. This is a casual drop-in event. Bring a resume if you have one. If not, be sure to collect the contact information with the person you networked so you can follow up afterwards.
