The Wilderness Center, in Wilmot, Ohio, is holding Science-to-Go Ecology Seminars. Join ENR alumn, Dr. Jeff Corney, as he presents the final piece of this 3-part series of seminars. This last installment will include the flow of energy through ecosystems, photosynthesis and respiration, food web dynamics, global climates and ecological productivity. We’ll answer questions such as: How is it that the oxygen we need is really just a waste product from plants? How do energy, water and nutrients all add up to explain why some parts of the planet are covered in trees, some in grass, some in sand, and some are still covered in ice?
