EPN August 2016 Breakfast

EPN welcomes Susan Weber, Principal, Integrity Sustainable Planning and Design, who will present 'Transforming Our Yards – Doing More for Family and Community.' This breakfast will be followed by a walking tour of Chadwick’s pollinator and natural areas led by Chadwick’s Director, Mary Maloney and Trisha Clark, Program Manager, OSU Chadwick Arboretum and Learning Gardens.

Lush green lawns may look great, but the same space offers opportunities to provide much more -- like options for healthy vegetables, herbs, and fruits; flowers and pollinators; wildlife; trees; outdoor discovery opportunities for kids and adults; and less maintenance, carbon, storm water, and waste. Program follow-through is being planned to judge whether the time is right to support stronger efforts to promote transformations of residential, commercial, and institutional yards.

Susan Weber is an innovative Columbus landscape designer whose work has been featured in national publications.
