Interdisciplinary Water Symposium 2024

The Ohio Water Resources Center is excited to announce the Second Annual Interdisciplinary Water Symposium. This event has been designed to foster collaboration between those who are working on water-related projects and those who are interested in the field. Please join us as we gather to hear about the exciting water-related research being performed!

The symposium will be held on November 8, 2024, at the Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H center on Ohio State’s campus.

Due to the great success of the inaugural event, the 2024 symposium will be designed similarly to last year. Undergraduate and graduate students performing water-related research at institutions of higher education in Ohio will have the opportunity to present their research in the form of oral presentations, flash talks, or poster presentations. Additional events include a career panel where students will have the opportunity to engage with the panel. For the 2024 symposium, the theme of the career panel is young professionals. The event will be kicked off by our keynote speaker, Kristen Atha, who is the Director for the Department of Public Utilities for the City of Columbus.

We are extremely thankful for our sponsors as this is a free event with breakfast and lunch provided. Parking for the day is provided but please register to receive the documentation needed for free parking.
