SENR Seminar Series - Agroecology as a climate change adaptation solution: A case study from Malawi

Rachel Bezner Kerr, Professor, Department of Global Development Cornell University, will present Agroecology as a climate change adaptation solution: A case study from Malawi on Thursday, March 26, 2020. Join via Zoom at 4:10 p.m.

Agroecology is a holistic approach to food systems that uses ecological principles to produce food, taking into account the political, economic and social context. This presentation will use a case study in Malawi to examine whether agroecological, biologically diversified farming methods used by smallholder farming households in Malawi can address food security, social equity and resilience.
