SENR Speaker Series welcomes Dr. Douglas Jackson-Smith
The School of Environment and Natural Resources welcomes Professor Douglas Jackson-Smith on January 13, 2026, who will present, "Exploring the challenges and potential of participatory research in agriculture" starting at 4:00 p.m. in 103 Kottman Hall.
Doug Jackson-Smith is a rural sociologist, professor in SENR, and the W.K. Kellogg Chair of Agroecosystem Management at the Ohio State University. He joined SENR in 2016 after working on the faculty of Utah State University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He currently directs the Agroecosystem Management Program in CFAES which supports interdisciplinary and collaborative research and engagement projects to improve the performance of farming and food systems (see amp.osu.edu).
