General School of Environment and Natural Resources Overviews
Session Description: Students in the School of Environment and Natural Resources (SENR) are preparing for careers that will address some of the most pressing issues in our society: access to clean water and healthy food, climate resilience and adaptability, sustainable business practices, and proper management and use of public lands. On average, 90-92% of SENR grads are employed or pursuing additional education within 6 months of graduation.

The overview session will include career pathways for each major, education abroad opportunities, financial aid, honors, and information about the ENR Scholars program and the SUSTAINS Learning Community.
Green Jobs: Preparing to Make a Global Impact Through Careers in STEM, Economics, Policy, and More

This session will provide information on pathways into careers addressing “green” challenges: climate resilience and adaptability, access to natural resources, community and government action and response, and economic elements of sustainability. We will discuss this rapidly growing job sector, and learn about the variety of majors and professional experiences that prepare students for employment and impact in the field.
