Nearly one-third of the students in the School of Environment and Natural Resources transferred in from another major here on campus. We will help you through the transition, answer any questions you may have, and keep you on track for a timely graduation.
Declaring a major in School of Environment & Natural Resources
If you discover that your interests are within our programs in Environment and Natural Resources, we would be happy to talk with you. Schedule an appointment with an ENR Academic Advisor, by calling 614.292.2265 or contact us via the web. This appointment will give you the opportunity to learn more about the major you are interested in, ask questions about the curriculum requirements, and officially declare a major in our programs if you are ready.
As a student in one of our majors, you have the opportunity to apply for scholarships from the School of Environment and Natural Resources and The College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES- which SENR is part of). The scholarship application is administered through CFAES and can be found here. The deadline to apply for the 2020-21 school year is February 15, 2020.
The SENR scholarship committee awards scholarships for the upcoming academic year during the Spring Semester. Students awarded a scholarship will be notified by letter from the chair of the honors and scholarship committee.
Our College (CFAES) has helpful tips and information on financial aid. You can find financial aid information here. Dr. Pat Whittington, Assistant Dean, manages scholarships and financial aid for CFAES and is available to answer your questions.
