Combined or Dual Degree
Graduate students in combined or dual degree programs are pursuing and satisfying the degree requirements to earn two separate degrees simultaneously. Such highly motivated students plan and synthesize their interests to earn both degrees in a very succinct way. Combined students pursue either an undergraduate or professional degree in addition to a graduate degree. Dual degree students pursue two graduate degrees.
Success Tips:
- Plan ahead
- Communicate often with faculty advisors and staff administrators in both programs about any questions or concerns
- Submit any approved changes to your Combined/Dual Program Plan to the Graduate School before you apply to graduate
- Submit two applications to graduate (one for each degree) to the appropriate offices
