Explore SENR Global Education programs offered in 2026

Oct. 20, 2025
Students exploring Iceland.

Study Abroad Information Sessions are underway for students to learn all about the School of Environment and Natural Resources (SENR) offerings (there are so many Global Education programs offered at Ohio State and students of all majors can explore these too)!

The two Global Education programs SENR is offering are Iceland: Environment and Natural Resources and Australia: Human Impacts on the Natural Environment. Students can learn about these programs, including what they will be studying, how long the high-impact experience is, financial aid to support participation and more!

Plan to attend one of the sessions to learn more about these opportunities to learn about cultures, histories, and environments different than your own.

Iceland: Environment and Natural Resources Info Session

Attend an information session to learn about an active and adventurous study abroad program to Iceland! Students on the Iceland: Environment and Natural Resources program spend about two and a half weeks during a summer term studying the unique geology, soil, geothermic energy, agriculture, ecotourism, and Icelandic history and culture. Participants also enroll in a pre-departure course during spring semester to prepare them for the program: ENR 5790.06.
