Faculty to speak on World Food Day (Oct. 16)

School of Environment and Natural Resources faculty Dr. Rattan Lal and Dr. Shoshanah Inwood are presenters at Food Tank 50 State Summit Tour "Nourishing America" on World Food Day, Oct. 16, 2022, in Columbus, Ohio. 

The tour will take place over four years and is a regional partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations North America, International Fund for Agricultural Development, and the World Food Program USA.

Jill Clark, associate professor, John Glenn College of Public Affairs is the lead organizer at Ohio State for the tour stop in Columbus, Ohio on World Food Day, October 16. Dr. Clark is a SENR alum (BS '95) and provides statewide leadership for the Ohio Food Policy Network, national leadership as an advisory board member for the Food Policy Network, international leadership as the president of the Agriculture, Food, and Human Values Society, and local leadership as an appointment member of the city and county local food board. Clark recently was awarded the 2022 Excellence in Engaged Scholarship from the Engaged Scholarship Consortium. Read what Dr. Clark says about the opportunity to host the event at Ohio State here.
