The Carbon Management Sequestration Center hosted French Agriculture Minister Stéphane Le Foll and his delegation on Saturday, June 27, 2015. As part of his visit, the Minister gave a talk, “Research on Carbon Sequestration in Soils: A Priority for France" in Columbus on The Ohio State University campus. He also visited farms in Ohio adopting carbon sequestration practices in soils.
College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences Dean Bruce McPheron gave welcoming remarks.
Carbon sequestration is the focus of the forthcoming COP21 meeting to be held in Paris in December.” COP21 is the 2015 UN Climate Change Conference.
