Students to get a glimpse of internship experiences at SENR's annual Internship Poster Forum.
Posters of SENR summer internship experiences will be on display in the Kottman Hall Lobby on September 11 starting at 1:30 p.m.
"Students ask me all the time what kinds of internships are out there? What do other SENR students do for their internships?” said Lucia Hadella, career development coordinator for the School of Environment and Natural Resources (SENR).
"This event is the perfect opportunity to talk face-to-face with peers about their recent internships. Presenters are there to spread the word about how they got their internships, what they gained from the experiences, and what they wish they’d known earlier or done differently," she said. "You can’t find much better insight than that for your own internship search."
Held annually, the SENR Internship Poster Forum provides an opportunity for students to:
- Learn about the internships SENR students completed this summer
- Get tips and inspiration for your internship search

"Students don’t always realize that their summer internship search needs to start in the fall," Hadella said. "Attending the Internship Poster Forum is a great way to jump-start your own internship search while supporting your peers in a casual, friendly environment where people are eager to give you advice and answer your questions."
