Logan Gould, an alum of the School of Environment and Natural Resources and current Zero Waste Coordinator at The Ohio State University is leading efforts to reduce campus waste one drop at a time. Gould's leadership is featured in the newsletter for the Facilities Operations and Development (FOD). FOD supports all of The Ohio State University’s academic facility needs, design and construction projects, maintenance services and sustainability initiatives.
The idea to install water bottle refill stations came to mind when Gould was a Zero Waste intern and member of Students for Recycling and came to fruition with the support of Ohio EPA’s Recycling Ohio Grant program. Gould led the application process in collaboration with other Students for Recycling members and Administration and Planning (A&P) departments.
