Peer-to-peer learning and networking at the Internship Forum

SENR students share their internship experiences

Students shared a wide range of internship experiences at a forum held in the Kottman Hall Lobby on October 24, 2022.

Throughout this year's event, there were 90 student presenters and posters on display. An additional 140 students checked into the event, mainly from the ENR 1100 Survey class and ENR 1500: Career Development.

The event was organized and hosted by SENR Career Advisor, Lucia Hadella and has become a highlight of autumn semester. Many students, staff, and faculty who passed through the lobby that afternoon stopped to view the posters and talk with presenters.

Curious where students interned?

If you were not able to make it to the internship forum there is still an opportunity to learn where some students interned and get a glimpse of their experience. "Students could select whether to hang their posters in Kottman Hall or take them home. We plan to take the posters down by the end of the semester, but they will remain on the walls for a few more weeks," Hadella said.

Stay tuned - eventually the students' posters and videos will be added to and displayed on the School of Environment and Natural Resources' Digital Internship Gallery
