Congratulations to Professor Emeritus Randall Heiligmann, who was recently honored by The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) for his 30 years of enthusiastic and inspirational forestry instruction as a professor in the School of Environment and Natural Resources at The Ohio State University.
Professor Heiligmann, David Gamstetter and the East Central Ohio Forestry Association were recognized at the Forest of Honor ceremony held at Zaleski State Forest near McArthur, Ohio, where a tree was planted in the forest to recognize their roles in promoting and practicing forest stewardship in Ohio. Of this year's honorees, "their leadership in education, innovation and forest management practices continues to be instrumental in maintaining Ohio’s urban and private woodlands."
