The School of Environment and Natural Resources (SENR) hosts convenient Employer Pop-Ups — and they are back for spring semester!
These events bring employers from environment and sustainability fields to Kottman Hall Lobby so students and employers can casually interact and discuss upcoming job and internship opportunities.
SENR understands that students have packed schedules. The pop-ups are intentionally casual and easy to attend between classes. Students are welcome to bring resumes, but it’s not expected. They don’t need to dress up or do extensive preparation. Here are some key takeaways for students to think about:
-
A meaningful five-minute conversation with an employer may reduce the time spent on job or internship searches.
-
Each Employer Pop-Up features a manageable number of employers for students to meet in a short amount of time

If the word “networking” makes you feel nervous, you’re not alone. That’s exactly why this event is built to be relaxed, welcoming, and low‑pressure. You don’t need a polished résumé, a perfect plan, or any special experience — just curiosity. Hosted on Zoom, Campus to Career brings together current students and CFAES alumni in breakout rooms organized by industry and major. It’s an easy way to meet professionals in your field, hear honest advice, and discover the many directions a CFAES degree can take you — all in a supportive environment where you can participate as much or as little as you’re comfortable with.
