Late May 2020 News Highlights for the School of Environment and Natural Resources. Find out about recent publications, recognitions and programs offered and much more!

Congratulations to Renee Johnston, who is a recipient of The Ohio State University’s highest staff honor – honored for exceptional leadership, accomplishments and service, Renee is an Ohio State Distinguished Staff Award recipient!

Faculty member Doug Jackson-Smith is a co-author on a new rapid response piece in the journal, Agriculture and Human Values Keeping up with the fast‑moving world of crisis management that focuses on food system capacity to manage emergency situations like COVID-19. It is co-authored with the National Academies Board on Ag & NR.  

Two faculty members will lead projects addressing algal bloom impacts on Ohio, which are part of the Ohio Department of Higher Education’s (ODHE) ongoing Harmful Algal Bloom Research Initiative (HABRI).
