Students and those having an impact on the student experience were recognized at the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences Celebration of Students Live! event on April 4, 2019 at the Ohio Union Archie M. Griffin Ballroom.

Students graduating in 2019 whose accomplishments and activities exemplify excellence in academic, research and innovation, service and involvement and influence and leadership. Recipients are nominated by their academic unit. Sponsored by CFAES Academic Programs.

Newcomb Scholars are those with the highest cumulative GPA at the end of autumn semester 2018. Five students in each rank two, three and four on the Columbus and regional campuses and five second second-year students at ATI are recognized. This award is named for Dr. L.H. Newcomb, retired CFAES Senior Associate Dean. Sponsored by CFAES Academic Programs.

Lee Johnston Leadership Award

This award recognizes student leaders in the School of Environment and Natural Resources. The award is named in memory of Lee Johnston, a 1991 graduate of the School of Natural Resources, who was active in College Council and many activities in the school. Sponsored by the Lee Johnston family and administered through the SENR Alumni Society (ENRAS).

CFAES Internship Award

Maggie Borders, Environmental Science

This award recognizes students who have excelled at internships within their respective fields. One award is available to each Department and the School of Environment and Natural Resources. Sponsored by CFAES Student Council.
