Aug. 1, 2016

Spend some time at the Ohio State Fair and more than likely you will run into School of Environment and Natural Resources alumni, as well as current students who are completing internships this summer.  The fair offers visitors the opportunity to learn about a variety of topics associated with natural resources, the environment, food and agriculture.

Here are just a few sightings Career Counselor Trish Raridan Preston (shown left in front of the Prevent Wildfires tower) made while representing the school at the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences booth in the Nationwide Donahey Ag & Hort Building and visiting the Natural Resources Park.

Forestry, Fisheries and Wildlife majors Ryan Clester, Maria Hart and Robert Reed  (shown with Smokey Bear) are serving as interns with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Forestry.

Kelsey Brockman, Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife officer for Erie County, Ohio and a graduate of the School of Environment and Natural Resources who majored in Natural Resource Management.

Alex Ruth, a Forestry, Fisheries and Wildlife major and a voice of Smokey Bear. Alex serves as an intern with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Forestry.
