50th Anniversary Marks- Email Signature

Email Signatures:

Help us celebrate by adding an Anniversary Mark of your choice to the signature line of your email.
Here are the short steps you need to take to add to your signature line.

UPDATE APRIL 17TH:

Not everyone's computers and email will adjust the mark correctly.  Some people will be able to resize the mark and some will not.  If you are not able to resize the mark, please click here for a formal or here for an informal mark and retry.  Contact Colleen Miracle.50 if you need additional assistance.

Mac Users:

1. Click "download" at the bottom of the page to download each formal and informal 50th Anniversary Mark picture in jpeg format.  It may pull the image up in a new internet browser window.  From there you can "right click" and save the image to downloads. You can create two new signature lines, one for a formal signature and one for informal. The informal option has a pattern and is brighter, which is why we are considering it the more "fun" option. It is up to you to decide which of the two options to use in your emails.

2. Now you will create your signature line(s).  You can also edit your current line if you'd like, but I chose to make two new ones. Open your Microsoft Outlook Email app.  In the top left corner, click "Preferences" under the main Outlook tab. "Signatures" will be under there. Under Signatures, you should have your "Standard" signature, and you will want to create a formal and/or informal line too.  Click the "plus" button to do that. Double click to rename each new line.

3. In your Standard signature line box, highlight all of the signature and "copy" it, or Command C. Go into the formal line you just created (should be blank) and "paste" or Command V.  It should look just like your Standard signature.  Make sure it has the OSU logo.  If the OSU logo didn't transfer over, copy it on its own again and paste in the new line.  Your Anniversary Mark will go underneath your whole signature. Go into your downloads folder and drag the formal anniversary mark directly into your new signature box, at the very bottom of the signature line.   As an alternative, you can click "add image" and pull up the image instead. There should be a space between the bottom of your signature line and the new mark.  The size of the mark should be exactly as pictured in the examples below. Feel free to resize as needed to match the size of the one in the examples. If you are not able to resize, see instructions at top of page.

4. You will select which signature you would like to be your default under the "New messages" drop down shown above.
A new email should look like this (for the informal option):

You can switch between the signatures in the tab shown above, under "Signatures".
