Rimal has M.Sc. in agricultural engineering (soil conservation option) from Cranfield University, UK, and a Post graduate diploma in forestry (AIFC) from India with substantial work experience of soil conservation, forestry from Nepal. He is responsible for managing soil physics and chemistry labs for the Carbon Management and Sequestration Center (C-MASC) at SENR and operates C-N analyzer, Gas Chromatographs, Total organic carbon analyzer, Flow analyzer and other soil physics and chemical analysis equipments and devices.
