Jon Anderegg

Jon Anderegg joined the School of Environment and Natural Resources in 2025 after completing the MGIST program at The Ohio State University in the Department of Geography.  His primary focus is teaching GIS and Remote Sensing for environmental science (ENR 3700) and advising students on geospatial analysis in their capstone projects. Prior to SENR, Jon taught communication courses as an Instructor at Ohio State and George Fox University. 

He enjoys working with students on developing place-based projects. His own work has focused on watersheds, particularly reconsidering how we can reorient our sense of place around water.  He also has worked on projects connected to trail infrastructure and forest fire recovery.
