Program Manager, Environmental Sciences Network, The Ohio State University.
 
Reporting to the Executive Director, develops, manages, and maintains the Environmental Sciences (ES) Network between OSU colleges that synergizes and promotes improved Environmental Sciences research, teaching, and outreach and builds academic and professional opportunities for faculty, students and alumni; provides assistance to Executive Director, advisory committee, and ES faculty, students and staff and serves as liaison with organizations campus wide; develops research clusters focused on high priority and emerging issues in environmental science; promotes discussion groups/forums/blogs to explore and facilitate collaborative activities; facilitates, coordinates, and promotes courses and seminars and assists with recruitment events; creates and maintains the Environmental Sciences Network; leads public relations effort to highlight important news, activities, and opportunities; develops and distributes newsletters; makes presentations and publishes program outcomes; conducts surveys; assists in budget planning; pursues external funding through grants and assists with development fundraising; attends national environmental and educational conferences.
 
Master’s degree in Environment Sciences or an equivalent combination of education and experience; program planning and administrative experience in one or more of the environmental  sciences in an academic environment; experience working in the science communication field.
