    Learning effectiveness of online poster symposium focus of new article

    A new paper published in the journal Frontiers in Education describes how an online poster symposium can be used as a unique educational experience and assessment tool in a large-enrollment, online, asynchronous, natural science, general education course. Ella Weaver, instructional aids associate and Kylienne Shaul, instructional development specialist in the School of Environment and Natural Resources are lead authors on the publication.

    Congratulations! Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) wins the 2015 EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative (ELI) video competition in Anaheim, CA. The BYOD video features the App built (a partnership between SENR's Dr. Lower and the Office of Distance Education and eLearning) to do peer reviews at the 2014 Environmental Science Symposium.

    Please join us for the second annual Environmental Science Student Symposium in the Ohio Union’s Archie Griffin Ballroom on the campus of The Ohio State University. Students from ENR 2100 – Introduction to Environmental Science will present scientific research findings through a poster to their peers and the public.  This year, the symposium will feature over 600 student presentations ranging across hundreds of topics in environmental science.
