Two SENR graduate students have received grants for their research proposals from the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center's SEEDS program. Patrick Bell, a doctoral student in SENR received funding for his research proposal, "Sustainable Intensification for Improving Soil Quality and Adapting to Climate Change in the Uluguru Mountains of Tanzania". Patrick works under the guidance of his advisor, Dr. Rattan Lal. Christopher Johnson is an MS student in the Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences specialization advised by Dr. Lauren Pintor and received the funding award for his research proposal, "The Indirect Effects of Biological Invaders as a Novel Prey for a Native Predator".
